MISSION:  Itality Retreat Health & Wellness Camp creates a safe environment to improve the quality of life for everyone to balance the mind, body and soul.  Using an indigenous and holistic approach, we bring together a team of nutritionists, fitness experts, wellness coaches and sustainability experts in a beautiful, tranquil and tropical setting by the river.

FIRST 3 DAYS:  TECHNOLOGY FREE ZONE – 3 DAY DETOX -& WELLNESS SEMINARS 

THU., AUGST 1 – DAY 1-  EMANCIPATION DAY:  Return to the true identity of ones self. Learn ancient indigenous traditions of maintaining good health and protocols to vital livity.  Importance of Meditation & Deep Breathing vs. Medication.

 

FRI.,  AUGST 2, DAY 2 –  DETOX & FLUSH – WELLNESS WORKSHOP ON DETOX, Benefits of Fasting, Morning Disciplines, Yoga, Eastern & African Martial Arts & Self Defense, Capoiera, Stretching, Green Juices, Detox Herbs, Teas & Tonics

 During the camp experience campers and families learn to bond, live in harmony with nature, learn new lifestyle skills that can improve their lives and live consciously.  Through team-building activities, interactive fitness and sports routines, campers learn about the importance of self-discipline, social responsibility and, in the process increase in health and vitality.

We provide guidance and support and a unique opportunity for one-on-one individualized or group programs to meet each person’s unique challenges.  Guest lecturers and workshops are designed to provide the advanced skills and experience necessary to properly prepare indigenous foods, and the use of native herbs and spices and to identify native plants and herbs and sample nutritious and delicious foods.

Our registered nurse is on-site 24/7 to supervise. Our dedicated, caring and professional health and wellness team review each campers’ medical history and medications prior to their arrival. Families are able to meet with our medical staff on opening day to review camper’s needs. Our caring team will attend to any medical need as it arises. Our job is to manage and improve health and wellness and assess medical situations requiring a higher level of care.  They are in contact with our medical team on a daily basis and have and have an on-call doctor ready for any urgent issues.  On site are members certified in First Aid and CPR.
